CONNECTOSED - Project Overview
CONNECTOSED is an open-source WebGIS platform built on a geodatabase of Sediment flow Connectivity Index (SfCI) data for the Apulia Region in southern Italy.
The Sediment flow Connectivity Index (SfCI) has proven to be a successful tool for identifying sediment pathways and hotspot areas, making it useful for assessing
susceptibility to rapid surface changes associated with multi-hazard exposure. ConnectoSed is designed for improving the efficiency and accuracy of spatial analysis,
enhancing knowledge and supporting more informed decisions for land monitoring.
The development of ConnectoSed is part of the DEMETRA project, funded by the ERC SEEDS UNIBA program at the University of Bari.
